dharma

Dharma is a Sanskrit term. The root of this word is dhr which means "to uphold." In the Hindu and Buddhist text this word has many meanings some of which are, phenomena, highest truth, and duty (in the sense of an obligation to yourself, the community, or an obligation to the common good.) Dharma is what you do everyday, what you practice to make your mind, and your world, a better place. Through practicing dharma you create and sustain a commitment to becoming more awake and aware, to becoming wiser and more loving, and to discovering ones true nature of peace. However, dharma is much more than a commitment, it is an action.

~This is my action... to share with others all the beautiful things i learn in my day to day life through reading, practicing, and listening to amazing yoga teachers and yogi friends. To share yummy and healthy food to help keep our temples happy and loved, to share life's lessons, and its many blessings.
